The Night Serpent is an Integrated Preamp inspired clean boost designed to be ran in your signal chain before an amp.
32 Volt Headroom - This updated version uses a modern charge pump circuit to increase the 9 volt input to a stable 32 volts to add more headroom to the EQ section.
Amp Channel Switching -An amp channel selector circuit has been added to the on/off footswitch to toggle between amp channels with an added phase switch to flip the channel order.
EQ Mode Footswitch - Toggles between Free and Fixed modes
EQ Modes;
Free Mode (Green)- Based on the Integrated Preamp, this allows for treble and bass knob adjustment
Fixed Modes (Blue) - The toggle switch in between the level and treble switches between fixed mode 1 (based on the Grind) and 2 ( based on the 33). These modes are a fixed EQ profile but can be adjusted with an internal trim pot to allow for variations in their tone. Mode 1 is a tight punchy mode for really tightening up bass response while Mode 2 has a slightly bumped mid section.
Level - The output level is the same no matter which mode is selected making it ideal for live application
